Junior Season at Central Michigan (2019): She played in 13 games, making 11 starts … Miagkova missed a portion of the season after earning a call up to the Russian Senior National Team for international play... She finished third on the team in goals (3) and points (7) … Miagkova scored a goal in 4-0 Russian victory over Estonia in a World Cup qualifying match. Earlier that week, she netted her first two career collegiate goals, including the game winner against IUPUI on September 8 … She scored at Bowling Green on October 10, converting on a penalty kick opportunity … Miagkova assisted on the game-winning goal at Miami (OH) on September 29 … She totalled 17 shots (6 on goal) during the 2019 season ... In April of 2019, Miagkova was called up to the Russian National Team, appearing in three international friendlies in China as the team prepared for World Cup qualification.
Club: Miagkova played in the 2019 Russian Cup with Lokomotiv Moscow ... She won the Kuban Spring Women's Tournament, an international festival of women's youth soccer teams supported by FIFA, in 2017 and 2018 with the Russian U19 National Team ... Miagkova participated in the Elite Round of the 2018 European Championship with the Russian U19 team ... She won the Russian Championship with a team from the Moscow region in 2017.
Personal: Alina Sergeevna Miagkova is the daughter of Elena and Sergey Miagkova ... She has two brothers, Alexander and Artemiy ...She majors in communications and rhetorical studies in the College of Visual and Performing Arts.
